Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change

Really pleased with the overall experience. They didn’t bend my arm for Un-needed services like other places. Reasonably priced, and a great location. Shop was very clean, and the service manager was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re someone with a busy schedule and kids.

My wife took our van in to get an oil change for convenience since we live right up the street from the new location on County Line Road in Madison, AL. My wife pulled in and they changed her oil but when they had her turn the car on after "changing" the oil the oil was not refilled and they put no oil in the car and pressure was skyrocketing but they had it run for 2 minutes. How you can forget to put oil in a car during an oil change is beyond me. This was the 1st issue. Next the O Ring was left in the Engine compartment and wasn't attached. I took it back and they put the O Ring on but that WOULD have caused a leak. And last the tech RIGHT next to my wife talked about upselling to another customer to get more money out of them even though it doesn't really matter. And last but not least they were over a quart short on the oil change. I'm appalled right now at this service department. Stay very far away unless you're wanting to risk damaging your vehicle. Follow-up: contacted manager and he contacted higher ups. I had to take the vehicle to dealership because it wasn't running right and they did extensive tests and had to do a new oil change. I requested a refund and they would not do it. So now only approach is to dispute with credit card company. Stay clear of this business. Too risky and their actions could have ruined our car.

Got a flyer mailed to my house and a week later I figured I’d stop by to get my commuter car oil changed. On 09/27/2023 @ 4:30pm I pulled in and inquired about the $29.99 synthetic blend oil change and was informed I would need the coupon since I forgot at home. Headed home and returned ten minutes later for another guy to tell me he’s on break and I needed to return in a hour. Fine, I’ll continue to go to Walmart.

I’m currently sitting outside a Strickland Brothers 10-minute oil change. I’ve been here for 30 minutes. When I arrived I was second in line but the person in front of me pulled away. I don’t know how long he had been waiting. Someone should at least come out and explain that it’s going to take much much longer than advertised. I only had an hour to get my wife’s oil changed and it’s completely wasted. I would not recommend this business. I used to take my car to take 5 and they would greet every customer with a bottle of water and explain if there was going to be a wait. When I pulled up I only had 10 minutes of my hour left so when the guy told me I could get a cheaper oil change at the valvoline express I told him thanks and went on my way.

The 10 minute oil change was closer to 45 minutes. The technicians appeared confused and unknowing about what they were doing. After receiving my receipt, they falsely indicated they checked my air filter, wiper blades, radiator fluid, power steering fluid and my tires. I will not go back.
